WAIA’s 80th, Back to the 80s

We invite all of the AA DMV community, friends, family, and, of course, newcomers to the 80th WAIA Gala, Back to the 80s! We couldn’t resist the urge to show off our hottest 80s looks and celebrate shoulder pads, big hair, fingerless gloves, neon, sequins, and power suits.
The program is being finalized, but we will have a terrific speaker, a powerful day count, dinner and dancing. We’re happy to have DJ lil’e join us again for the night of the baddest tunes from the 80s.
Location: Silver Spring Civic Center, 1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring, MD 20910, Parking Available in Garage 61 is across the street from the Civic Building and Metro is 3 blocks away.
Attire: Dress to Impress
Dinner: Buffets (fare TBD)
