The Help Chat feature of the WAIA website provides the ability for the public to ask for information about Alcoholics Anonymous, meetings, service, chips, literature sales and other WAIA related topics via chat in circumstances where they cannot or don’t want to use the phone line.
The HelpChat feature is staffed by volunteers in the DC region from 10 am to 10 pm eastern time. The phone is available 24 hours a day.
To use our chat feature click on the blue box in the lower left that says “Send us a message…” and type us a message. If during our operating hours one of our volunteers will get back to you shortly. (Outside the 10 am to 10 pm operating hours the chat box will not appear.)
