Contribute to WAIA

The Washington Area Intergroup Association (WAIA) needs your support. Contributions this year are 35% below budget, and down 25% from last year. Please help ensure that the office can continue to serve as AA’s DC headquarters; answering calls 24/7, maintaining a current record of all meetings in the area, and providing other essential services to the still sick and suffering alcoholic. You must be a member of AA to contribute. Per our 7th tradition, we are “fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions”.

Contributions to WAIA can be made in person, over the phone, by mail,  by Venmo or online!

Contribute as an individual

Contribute for a group

If you are an individual the maximum you may give is $5000 per year. If you wish to make a large contribution please contact the WAIA office beforehand.

WAIA has also provided the Contribution Form regarding a suggested disbursement of your donation between the intergroup (WAIA), the General Service Office (GSO) your district and your Area Committee (WAGSA). If using these guidelines, the amount you contribute here should only be what your group wishes to give to WAIA.

For more information refer to the AA Pamphlet on Finance and the AA Pamphlet on Self Support.

We thank you for your support.

Any trouble with the donation process please email us: aa-dc@aa-dc.org or call the office at 202-966-9115.
